Glen Keane : April 13, 1954 (59)

He’s one of the best animators in Disney and worldwide, was one of the first animators to bring Disney into the Renaissances and getting it out of the Dark Ages, also he’s one of the most famous Disney animators and one of the group sometimes referred to as the “Nine New Men”, His impacts on Disney and the movies he was in is undeniable, as he’s the one of the main reasons the movies succeed, his fave feature in animation is the eyes. he left Disney on March 23, 2012.
The amazing Glen Keane and his magnificent contributions to Disney.
This is called humanity
I have nothing to say on this, these people are the pinnacle of human compassion, and that is all there is to it.
There was, of course, an increase in heart attacks and traffic accidents as people panicked trying to escape the ghost deer.
A significant decline in dementors as well.

SO MUCH LADY LOVE
I LOVE GISELLE YOU GUYS
No, but what gets me in this movie
is that every woman is beautiful to Giselle.
Women who wear suits and aren’t cute and petite. Women with wide hips and large rear ends and small breasts. Women who are black and white and every other ethnicity she came across, I’m sure. Women with straight hair and natural hair and grey hair. Older women and middle-aged women and young women.
Everyone is beautiful to Giselle. There’s no reason anyone wouldn’t be beautiful. There’s no reason beauty should ever be just one thing, that being a princess should ever be just one thing.
Everyone is a princess to Giselle, and if one of the princesses politely corrected her and said they were a prince she’d probably nod earnestly and talk about how dashing and handsome they looked too.
what is the source of this adorableness?
this is Disney’s Enchanted which is in my opinion a really fucking good movie. The cartoon princess is banished to the real world and has to deal with it and she does, really well, and also there’s a dragon.
‘Cause people seem to only post the 20-something Audrey Hepburn.
Audrey Hepburn was the granddaughter of a baron, the daughter of a nazi sympathizer, spent her teens doing ballet to secretly raise money for the dutch resistance against the nazis, and spent her post-film career as a goodwill ambassador of UNICEF, winning the presidential medal of freedom for her efforts.
…and history remembers her as pretty.
AND HISTORY REMEMBERS HER AS PRETTY
this is the first time I have ever seen a picture of her older than 20 and I think that’s scary
LIBBY COOPER, YOU’RE A STAR
is she using a vhs to try to clean that up
I’m almost 100% sure that’s the box for Sonic 2
Samoyed Dog Appreciation Post!
In Poland, a photographer found a group of cats and dogs hanging out together in the leaves. Apparently, no one told them that dogs and cats are enemies.:)

Simultaneously the worst and best movie ever made
Actually one of my teachers watched every single version of Romeo and Juliet with the original text in front of him to prove that this was the worst version, but to his great dismay its the most accurate film adaptation of it, with the lines closest to the original text and most similar stage direction and relayed emotions.
He proceeded to show it to us in class.
Our teacher simply referred to this film as the “ghetto-fabulous” Romeo and Juliet
damehel I still have this entire damn scene memorized from when we were rehearsing it in high school. Still waiting on the day when it will be useful. That day may never come. (Also how did I forget about this trashy version? it was hilarious.)
